Many Infusion treatments can result in the need for proactive care to keep a patient's white blood cells or red blood cells healthy. For that reason, we offer several options for injectable medications (including one you wear and take home!). Other injeciton medications include those for the treatment of Hepatitis C, Prostate Cancer, and other disorders. Many of these are available as part of your insurance's prescription medication plan or regular medical benefits, but our staff are also expert at securing financial support from foundations, pharmaceutical companies, and co-pay assistance programs.
We partner with leading research organizations such as SWOG and the Sutter Cancer Research Consortium to provide increased options for our patients in the forms of clinical trials and research. Dr. Wexler is committed to advancing medicine through research and she acts as the Medical Director for Clinical Trials for Sutter Solano Cancer Center. Their program combined with the program in our office has lead to the Cancer Center receiving several commendations for research. Both programs are routinely monitored for accuracy and study staff receive extensive training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), specimen handling, and more.
Contact our office for more information, and visit Sutter Solano Cancer Center's list of available options. Visit ClinicalTrials.gov for information about other clinical trials nationwide.
We work with local, regional, and national vendors to provide you with many options for your ancillary service needs. These can range from imaging or biopsy to advanced pathology and NGS (Next Generation gene Sequencing) or to Primary Care and other Specialty Care. Our leading team of clinical professionals tailor infusion services to the specific need of each patient. With leading treatment options in chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and more. Our goal is to treat our patients with respect and to provide the care they need as well as to reduce rates of hospital admissions through the use of support options such as antibiotics, hydration, and nutrient infusions.
With years of experience as a physician office dispensary, we are able to fill prescriptions for many of our patients, including oral cancer treatments, injections, Coumadin (warfarin) for anticoagulation therapy, and many other support medications. We are also one of only a few community cancer facilities approved to dispense some advanced medications, including Revlimid (lenalidomide) and Pomalyst (pomalidomide).
We apologize, but we can not fill prescriptions from other physicians and we do not carry narcotic medications.
We opened our physician office laboratory in 2012 and are able to provide lab draw services to our patients. We are CDPH-licensed, CLIA-certified, and COLA-accredited. Depending upon insurance and patient preference, we are able to perform much of the lab testing on-site or to send out to a local reference lab. Our testing menu continues to grow and includes basic hematology, chemistry, and advanced chemistry tests necessary in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of cancer and hematologic disorders. Our expert Lead Lab Tech and other phlebotomists are truly artful in performing blood draws, often even being called upon to teach their techniques to new nurses.
On-site laboratory testing is currently only available in our Vallejo location.
Blood draw services are available at both offices, by appointment.
